Goechala TrekSikkim trekking trails runs through a sharp hills rich in vegetation and wildlife. While trekking in Sikkim, snow clad peaks far off and the mighty Khangc hendzonga the third highest peak in the world provides an exhilarating and memorable experience in a tranquil natural set up.

Unlike in many other parts of the Himalayas, Sikkim's trekking trails are not over crowded or it is defaced due to tremendous negative impact through berserk human development or uncontrolled tourism promotion.

70% of the total area is under forest cover that is under the direct control of Sikkim government, which denies any unfortunate human encroachment and poaching. Strict regulation and awareness amongst the stakeholders is helping the biodiversity of the region get protected at its best. Most trails enter into wild vegetation where one never comes across any civilization except Yakmans hut.

Sikkims mountains and culture go together providing trekkers with best of natural beauties as well the rich cultural heritage. High altitude lakes are to be seen while in every trekking trail.

Yaks add to the color of trek- in Sikkim cross-bred of Yak and Cow is used as pack animal, which is called Dzos. They are unfriendly and ferocious but in their own way very simple and not demanding.

Few trekking trails are opened to all. Dzongri, (semi strenuous) Goechala and Singalila (strenuous) trails are beautiful with mountain peaks seen from every angle. There are numerous low altitude treks, which equally provide a different experience that may allow one to come across local life in Sikkim Villages.

In the mountain, after every climb, rest says Tenzing Norgay who conquered Everest the highest peak in the world together with Sir. Edmond Hillary.

Acclimatization zones are one of the most important parts of the trekking trails, which allows any aspirants to go higher & higher to get the glimpse of the beauty of mountains. Good food, plenty of water and plenty of rest, allows even a novice to reach the highest parts of the world.

Safety and comfort of the trekkers are the main goal of the crew.
